They don't make "teen" movies like this anymore, but this is one that could warrant a remake, not that there's anything wrong with the original. I'd love to see Alexandria DeBerry in Betsy Russell's role and some black guy taking the place of Matthew Modine. That would be awesome.

I remember pausing the movie right at that moment and then turning my head around so that I could see what it would look like to see beautiful Betsy in the mounting position!
